The Rainbow Exchange 2024 Collection is now live!

Please go read, give kudos and leave comments on the amazing stories created this year! The collection will stay open for treats.

Rainbow Exchange works are due June 16th at 10 p.m. UTC.

When you post your work, please make sure:
- you're posting it to rainbowexchange2024 collection
- your gift has the correct recipient
- it's a complete work that matches the recipient's requested medium, fandom, relationship or character, freeform tag and doesn't contain any DNWs

You can email the mods (sasheneskywalker+exchange@gmail.com) and ask for a 3-day extension if you need additional time to finish your assignment.

Once you're done with your assignment, please consider picking up a pinch hit, we still have 3 left.

Please remember:
- You must request 3-10 fandoms. Each request can have 1-20 relationships, 1-2 mediums (fanart and fanfic), and 1-20 freeform tags.
- You can request the same fandom multiple times, as long as you have at least three unique fandoms.
- A DNW is a thing you Do Not Want to get in a fic. All DNWs must be included in the optional details of the request in order to be enforceable. DNWs should be clear, free of judgement, and not box your creator in or be in conflict with the request.
- You can add prompts and likes in the optional details, or create a separate "dear creator" letter.
- You can sign up more than once with well-behaved sock accounts.
- You must offer 1-10 fandoms. Each offer can have 1-20 relationships, 1-2 mediums (fanart and fanfic), and 1-20 freeform tags.
- If your offers are unmatchable you'll be contacted after signups close and asked if you wish to drop out or add more offers. Please check the requests and make sure you're offering something at least one person has requested.
- Make sure that the email address linked to your AO3 account is working and remember to check your AO3 email during the exchange.

Hello! Thanks for all the nominations so far. We have some questions regarding certain fandoms and tags.

Fandom tags

Star Trek: Alternate Original Series (Movies) and Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager - Should we keep these fandoms separate or combine them into one "Star Trek" fandom?

The Witcher (TV) and Wiedźmin | The Witcher - All Media Types and Wiedźmin | The Witcher (Video Game) and Wiedźmin | The Witcher Series - Andrzej Sapkowski - We understand these fandoms are different adaptations, however most nomination have been disambiguated as "Witcher". We now realize it's too broad and we think some relationship and character tags have ended up in the wrong fandoms. If you nominated a character or relationship from one of the Witcher fandoms, please leave a comment specifying exactly which adaptation you're interested in so we can fix the tags.

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - Susanna Clarke and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell & Related Fandoms - Can these two be combined into one fandom?

Affirmation - The tag is too non-specific. Can we change it to "Affirming it's okay to be queer" or did you mean something else?

Canon Disabled Character - Can we change it to "Canon Queer Disabled Character"?
